When will I see results and how long do they last?

You may notice your skin is smoother and tighter immediately after the treatment. However noticeable effects will take place over two to four months, with the full effects taking place over 6 months.

How many treatments of HIFU do i need? 

When treating the face 1-2 treatments over 12 months are recommended depending on skin quality, age, health and lifestyle. However for a double chin may need 2-3 treatments.

When treating the body 2-3 treatments over 12 months may be needed depending on the area of concern and amount of treatment needed. This is depending on if we are targeting fat cells as well as skin tightening & lifting. 

Pre treatment guidelines:

• NO Tanning or sun damage to the desired treatment area for 2 weeks prior to the treatment.

• NO using active skincare eg. Retinol , Vitamin C, Exfoliating Acids for 5 days prior to your treatment.

• 2 weeks either side of any facial peel or treatment that the skin needs to heal from.

• 2 weeks post Anti-Wrinkle injections (Botox / Dysport).

• 1 month post Filler injections on the area you are wanting to treat with HIFU.

• Any Facial treatment you must wait 2 weeks before HIFU treatment.

Who is not a suitable candidate for the HIFU treatment?

• Blood or bleeding disorders

• Are undergoing anti-thrombosis therapy

• Have metal implants or permanent fillers in the treatment area

• Are Pregnant or breastfeeding

• Have an active systemic or skin disease which may hinder regeneration

• Have Autoimmune disease
